PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)
The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of department of EEE are given below:
PEO 1: Engineering Foundation
To produce graduates with firm foundation in electrical and electronics engineering principles and mathematics.
PEO 2: Core Competence
To motivate graduates to analyze, design, develop, optimize and implement electrical systems with competent spirit and innovation.
PEO 3: Breadth Knowledge
To enable graduates with sufficient breadth in electrical engineering and related fields to solve general engineering problems in an eco-friendly environment.
PEO 4: Professional Skills
To make graduates with professional outlook who can communicate effectively and interact responsibly with colleagues, clients, employers and society.
PEO 5: Continuous Learning
To prepare graduates to pursue lifelong learning and professional development including higher education and research.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)
Engineering graduates will be able to:
PO 1: Engineering Knowledge
Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and specialization to solve complex engineering problems.
PO 2: Problem Analysis
Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems using first principles of mathematics and sciences.
PO 3: Design & Development
Design solutions for complex engineering problems and system components with consideration for public health, safety, and environmental factors.
PO 4: Conduct Investigations
Use research-based knowledge and methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data to provide valid conclusions.
PO 5: Modern Tool Usage
Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering tools including prediction and modeling.
PO 6: Engineer & Society
Apply reasoning informed by contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues in professional practice.
PO 7: Environment & Sustainability
Understand impact of professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate need for sustainable development.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)
The EEE graduates will achieve the following program-specific outcomes:
PSO 1: Power Systems Expertise
Graduates will be equipped with knowledge of complete design flow from specification to implementation in areas of both power systems and power electronics design, enabling work in power sector companies.
PSO 2: Embedded Systems Design
Graduates will be trained with microprocessor and microcontroller based system design skills and can work as design and verification engineers in embedded systems and automation.
PSO 3: Renewable Energy Systems
Graduates will be able to apply engineering knowledge for design and implementation of projects pertaining to renewable energy systems and smart grid technologies.
PSO 4: Professional Competence
Graduates will be incorporated with necessary soft skills, aptitude and technical skills to work in core electrical and IT sectors effectively.
