Quality Assurance in PSCMRCET


Internal Quality Assurance Cell has been established in PSCMRCET with the responsibility to promote quality assurance and ensure quality of teaching and learning, through:

  1. Clear statements of Vision, Mission, Values, Goals and Objectives, and be able to communicate to different stakeholders.
  2. Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive for quality education
  3. Establish a strong local and regional reputation among the general public and engage actively with the community.
  4. Ensure the welfare of all staff, reward hard-work and creative thinking, and offer opportunities for overall professional development and promotion.
  5. Operate with a high level of integrity, honesty and commitment to ensure the well-being of all stakeholders.
  6. Formulate general policies and specific procedures to support the high quality operation of all its activities.
  7. Provide quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the Institute
  8. Operate an annual cycle of self-review and action planning to foster continuous improvement of its performance.
  9. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the Institute based on the quality parameters/assessment criteria developed by the relevant quality assurance body (like NAAC, NBA) in the prescribed format
  10. Bi-annual development of Quality Radars (QRs) and Ranking of Integral Units of Institute based on the AQAR


      The institutional approach to quality assurance considers the institution as a whole, including its strategic, systemic and functional quality assurance in education, research and service. Its objectives are to enhance the quality of education and ensure that, academic standards are defined and achieved in line with equivalent standards nationally and internationally, and that the quality of learning opportunities, research and community involvement are appropriate and fulfill the expectations of the range of stakeholders. Thus, institutional quality assessment supports the progressive development goal of the institution and guarantee with confidence and certainty, that the standards and quality of its educational provision are being maintained and enhanced.
