1. 7th and 8th July, 2017 – Organised a two day workshop on Recent Techniques in Computational Engineering to gain hands on experience. All 4th year Mechanical students were taken to MAT lab to get practical knowledge. Even Mechanical dept staff attended this workshop. This workshop was organized by Kishore, Chaitanya and Girish.

1. June 21st, 2017 – Organised Yoga day Ganapathi Sacchidhanandha Ashramam member came to college and explained clearly about the benefits of ‘yoga’. This event was organized by Mechanical department. Students from 3rd and 4th B.Tech (Mech) and also students from remaining branches had participated in this event. Yoga guru had taught us few yogasanas.
2.June 22nd, 2017 – Address by an IAS officer K. Dinesh Kumar visited our college. He is a 6th rank holder in civil services. A small interaction session was arranged with him to our students. Students from 3rd and 4th B.Tech (Mech) and also students from remaining branches had participated in this event.
3. 11th July, 2017 – Awareness on anti-ragging Vijayawada Assistant Commissioner of police came to college and explained students how reach them in case of any emergency/threat. This was conducted only for 2nd year students of all departments. But from Mechanical dept only section-B had attended this.
4. 11th September, 2017 – Arranged a Motivation Lecture by V.Satish as YOUNG INDIA. This session was conducted to 3rd year students.
5. 11th September, 2017 – Career - Motivation session motivation was conducted by Dr. Ayodhya R.K. This session was conducted to 2nd year students.
6. 9th August, 2017- A JAM (Just A Minute) session was conducted to 2, 3, 4 years studentsby faculty G.Ravali and D.Kishore Babu.
7. 12th September, 2017 – A technical quiz is conducted to 2nd year students by faculty V.G.Priyanka.

9. 13th September, 2017 – Organised one week “Happiness Program” by Art of Living by Sri. D. Srinivasa Raju.It is a way to happy and healthier life. Sri D. Srinivasa Raju is a senior teacher of the art of living. session was conducted to all teaching and non teaching staff. In that he motivated about how to lead life happily.
10. 14th September, 2017- A general quiz is conducted to 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students by faculty P.Beaulah mani.
11. 5th September, 2017- Engineers Day is organized by the Department for the Students. Poster Presentation is arranged on the occasion of Engineers Day. 2nd and 3rd year students particapated very actively. In the evening prizes were distributed to the winners of technical and non technical events and also prizes were given to the students for their excellenct performance in acedamics.

1. 19th July, 2017 – Guest lecture on, “An Insight into the Working of Thermal Power Plants”. This was organized by Mech department. This lecture was given by Madhan Mohan. III-Mech and IV-Mech students attended this lecture.
2. 4th July, 2017 – Skill Development Program (CATIA) by APSSDC for final year students of Mechanical Engineering started. APSSDC is organising the program,56 students are attending the program, and this will be continued.

The main purpose of this visit is to know about moulds and casting related procedures and manufacturing details. Students were associated by lecturers Bharath and Ravindra.
2. 15th July, 2017 - Mech-II B-section went for industrial visit, G.S.Alloy Casting, Nunna, Vijayawada. Almost 40 students had been to this visit. The main purpose of this visit is to know about moulds and casting related procedures and manufacturing details. 3. 21st July, 2017 – III-Mech B-Section went for industrial visit, to APHMEL kondapally Vijayawada. Almost 52 students had been to this visit. The main purpose of this visit is to know about machine tools and manufacturing details. Students were associated by lecturers Kishore, Prasad and Ravali.

The main purpose of this visit is to know about machine tools and manufacturing details. Students were associated by lecturers Nagarjuna and Gowthami Priyanka.

The main purpose of this visit is to know about the manufacturing of pumps and motors. Students were associated by lecturers A. Chaitanya and technician N. Ganesh.
